    Hi! Help me please troubleshoot this laptop.

    Recently, about 3 moths ago, laptop came to my service with code 43 on discreete nVidia VGA card N18P-G62-A1. For some time user was running 3D games on integrated video. Mats had shown errors with VRAM chip. I`ve decided to replace all of them and also had to reball videochip. Everything worked fine.

    Now it returned with no image on LCD nor HDMI. Still, laptop seem to boot fine, it plays logon sound, connected USB devices are recognized when plugged in. But no IGFX voltage appears on CPU, only for short time (fraction of second)...

    Hello!

    I need help identifying part name of IC in QFN16 packadge under SSD, near audio jack and 1206 capacitors (marked on photo). Unfortunatelly there is no refdes of that part so that is only info I can provide. I took boardview here on forum for revosion 2.0, but it doesn`t have this part at all, not just moved. Maybe someone have relevant schematic or BV.
    Notebook was poured with coffee and someone already tried to fix it but as usual made jusy worse. I`ve restored all mobo defects and now it powers up, starts OS booting but hangs on OS logo. I believe missing part may...

    Do you have exact reading of resistances, before reflashing?
    If you rely on multimeter measure "beeping"/"not beeping" it is correct only for electricians working on house wiring.
    Just after de-energizing, switching voltage regulators goes into Output discharge mode, when output is formely shorted to ground. It may be your case, but I not sure about correlation with old/new dump.

    Current draw is not a definitive sign, try measuring voltage in dynamics of the 1st IC pin (~CS) of EC flash, and hub, if it is dedicated. Its a kind of post codes available on any platform)
    Is there any difference in that measures with and without RAM modules installed? On different dumps?
    Is RTC removed intentionally? You may have no init without.

    Does GPU appear in device manager? What error is reported while you try to install driver? Have you tried load another OS? If GPU is seen in devices, try to check it with GPU-Z. These reading may contain useful info for diagnosis such problems.
    Also there is a trick to remove PCI/3GIO bus, it will trigger reinstallation of majority computer devices, if it is software issue.
    Also, we all should remember that simple reboot does a miracles to win10.

    Hello!

    Need advice in trobleshooting notebook. 2 moths ago it arrived with random hangs, with display filled with solid blue (with no readings) after hang. Hub temperature reached 75C soon after power on. After replacing, everything was fine, temperature about 65C, running youtube for 2 days. Bios ME was cleared.
    Now it came back with same issue, but I saw temperature as high as 85C, same hangs with display filled with solid random color. 1.05V resistance for now is about 1 Ohm, so hub is obviously dead.
    Hub has dedicated heatsink with new thermal compound.

    No effect. After reinstall win10, hangs on Preparing devices 71%

    Hello!

    Need advice in trobleshooting this laptop. It powers on, shows boot windows screen, but animation hangs just before dektop should appear.
    I`ve tried reflashing bios, replacing flash IC, moving board to UMA (originally board with descreete VGA), replacing hub HM76, new OS, another HDD, replaced RAM.
    In contrast with Win10, win7 loads to desktop, but hangs randomly. While it works, all tests are passed - VGA, memory, stress test.
    After hang, all voltages seems to remain, regulators all gives rated voltages.

    Hello! Help me please troubleshoot this notebook.
    It has came with issue - starts when adapter is plugged in, lits power leds, but no image appears at display nor external monitor. When forced off with power button hold, switches off after 4 secs and immidiatelly starts again. Only option to turn off is to unplug adapter and battery.

    It has been a long, but I had similar case today, X750LB black screen, no CPU voltages, only 3/5V stand by. Last posted here dump did a job, but with code 10 on chipset device, 8086/9c18, no discreete nVidia VGA and random notebook shutdown. So, i`ve updated my broken dump with clean ME 1628 and main update from Asus site, and for now it works fine. May be of someone interest...

    Need help in troubleshooting notebook G560. When with battery, charger ISL6521 starts charging, and after few seconds, when CHLIM input (current setpoint from EC) reaches 250mV, charger shuts down with audible click. After ~5ms EC turns off adapter input (ACOFF is asserted) and switch to battery input.
    When with only adapter, or battery, no problem.

    Dear specialists! Help me please diagnose this laptop. Initially it was poured with something sweet (containing sugar), and probably worked for some time. For now it doesn`t react in any way on power button, still 3V3 is present there and drops on push.
