    Acer ES1-521-67LP Model: NX.G2KEX.025

Problem: battery doesn't charge and LED1 is constantly blinking in amber color.

Backstory: this laptop came for a battery replacement, the factory battery died after more than a year of use. I replaced it with battery received from Acer Croatia authorized service provider. They sent me a Cameron Sino CS-ACE150NB. Battery is recognized by laptop and it boots normally with it. Latest BIOS is installed. Everything works properly except battery charging.

Laptop has original charger and I also tried with aftermarket charger. The battery doesn't charge but it depletes normally. When charger is plugged in it doesn't say "not-charging, just "plugged in". Tried uninstalling battery from device manager. This laptop also has the battery disconnect button SW2 which I also tried. No go.

What does the constant LED1 amber blink mean?

The schematic was posted in this thread.

    Thank you.

Check the resistance to GND Battery Coil( with out power no battery inserted) if more then 500 Ohms the line is good after check all pins of battery connector with and with out battery for voltage

check the resistance to GND PL207 PL202 PL303
check PQ304 N Fet with out power for any short if dont know how to test go through YOUTUBE
check the voltage on PQ305 pin 5 must be 18-20V

may be the new battrey is not working

Sorry for long time no response I was trying to get a new battery and do the tests you recommended.

This was the 2nd battery I tried and also no charging.

On this mainboard I cannot PL207 and PL303. Images of MBO are here.

I couldn't figure out how to test PQ304 so I took the mainboard to a guy who knows how and he said it is not shorted.

I will try to test PQ305 today.

Check voltage on all pins BQ24725 PU301 if you can but Since you are newcomer if the pins get short set Dead

The ISL88739 & ISL88739AHRZ are a highly versatile combo battery charger
configurable for operating as either a Hybrid Power Boost (HPB)
charger or a Narrow VDC (NVDC) charger, supporting 2-, 3-, or
4-cell batteries. Both configurations allow the battery to work with
the adapter together to supply the system load when it exceeds
the adapter capability, referred to as system Turbo mode. HPB
charger configuration reverse-boosts battery energy to the system
bus to help the adapter provide the system power in Turbo mode.

Acer Aspire 5 A514-55 - won't power on, no charger LED, battery not flat - usual suspects?
                by DenK
Dear all, I am trying to troubleshoot an Acer Aspire 5 A514-55 that won't power on. I'll describe the symptoms and my findings so far, and I would like to seek guidance and suggestions on possible suspects in terms of cause/component failure. My initial thoughts are battery charger IC and/or ideal diode/MOSFET (that switches between incoming DC and battery power), but I could be totally wrong on this.
                1) Laptop was working fine on battery, then user realised battery was running low. Plugged in AC adapter but noticed it was not charging (LED on AC adapter plug did not light). Eventually shut down

Highly Integrated Narrow VDC Battery Charger for Notebook Computers

The ISL6257HRZ ISL6257HRZ-T is a highly integrated battery charger controller
for Li-Ion/Li-Ion polymer batteries. ISL6257 is designed for
Narrow VDC applications where the system power source is
either the battery pack or the regulated output of the charger.
This makes the max voltage to the system equal to the max
battery voltage instead of the max adapter voltage. Operating
at lower system voltage can improve...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
                by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Strange! Acer laptop not powering on but charging the battery (orange light on when charger and battery plugged in).
                by serious_electron
                Hello Everyone!

I have an Acer Aspire A315-42 laptop. I generally leave it on for long time by closing down its lid (so it enters the sleep mode). Recently, it rained quite heavily in out area. And the humidity and moisture seem to be high. So one late evening, after I opened the lid and turned on the laptop, it did power on as the blue light turned on but after it booted to the desktop screen, just 5-10 seconds after both the screen and blue light went out and laptop shut down (the blue power light turned orange). And after 2-4 seconds that orange light went off and the laptop died.
