    Screen flickers after a while - Image attached

    Model Name: Lenovo G570
    Issue : Screen flickers after a while randomly and stays like that until I restart the pc

    Action taken - replaced screen with a known good one .. still same issue. it could happen as soon as you boot or after an hour or so. One some days it just works fine the entire day.

    observation : works fine on external monitor

    also if I connect the external monitor while the screen is flickering , the laptop screen immediately reverts back to normal

    I am not what exactly could be wrong..

      Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

      My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

      This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

      Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

      Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement

      Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

      It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...
