Hi all,
Have an issue with a P69G Dell motherboard.
Came in because wasn't turning on. When it comes in the shop, as soon as you plug the charger in, the light of the adapter goes off immediately and when you take it off from dc in, light comes back again so board was shorted.
Injecting 5V on DC in FPC on board, and this chip (Z22620IA?) circled was getting very hot (unfortunately couldn't find schematics nor boardview so don't know what is it and how does it works exactly).
Took off this ic, and now light on adapter stays once plugged in but still no boot on the computer.
The small 2 pads connected to the coil just next to it beeps in diode mode (don't know if it's normal because low resistance or the line is shorted).
What do you think?
Thanks for your inputs
