Re: Troubleshooting Dell P69G motherboard not turning on
You guys think i should just replace it?
What about those 2 pins beeping in continuity mode ("LX line")? Low resistance? Shorted line?
What would you try after that?
ThanksLast edited by JG2018; 12-07-2019, 05:09 PM.

Touch issue on Surface 3 1645 model
Hi all,
Replaced the screen of a 1645 Surface 3. With the new screen installed, touch of screen seems to work as when i touch it i can see the little point following the finger movements but once i want to select a folder or change it place, the touch doesn't seem to do its job.
Have exact same issue on 2 different same model tablet. It the screen defective or do i need to calibrate it?
Do you already faced this weird issue?
Not used to Surface repairs.
Thanks for your help....

Troubleshooting Dell P69G motherboard not turning on
Hi all,
Have an issue with a P69G Dell motherboard.
Came in because wasn't turning on. When it comes in the shop, as soon as you plug the charger in, the light of the adapter goes off immediately and when you take it off from dc in, light comes back again so board was shorted.
Injecting 5V on DC in FPC on board, and this chip (Z22620IA?) circled was getting very hot (unfortunately couldn't find schematics nor boardview so don't know what is it and how does it works exactly).
Took off this ic, and now light on adapter stays once plugged in but...

Re: Asus UX510U issue with 8 keys on the Keyboard
I don't think i have a both ends open similar flex cable but will double check it.
Will double check for same connector, so suggest me to replace it, right?
I can assume yes as the guy who sold it to us explained he had exactly the same issue on the PC he wanted to replace it (so if both keyboards have exact same issue knowing it happens with no particular reason, most probably a board level issue, right?)...

Re: Asus UX510U issue with 8 keys on the Keyboard
So made the flex thicker, changed nothing. The connector keyboard seems in perfect condition :s what would be your next move (don't have a keyboard connector in stock unfortunately and customer needs it urgently)? Thanks for your help...

Re: Asus UX510U issue with 8 keys on the Keyboard
Many thanks for your inputs.
Pin 1 to 26 have indeed continuity with ENE ic. Only pins 27 and 30 doesn't have continuity with ENE ic (and they also give different values than all others pins in diode mode).
Also as i don't have ENE IC schematics, i don't know which pin is which number in your list :s
Also what do you mean exactly by appending the values? You mean measuring voltages?...
