    acer e1-410 battery not charging

    Hi friends, I need help on this acer aspire E1-410 board id:
    EA40-BM MB
    13233-1M
    48.4OC10.01M

    the problem with this the battery no charging it stays at 1percent plugged in, but not increases the charge.I measured the PU4403IC LODRV AND HIDRV PIN15 AND PIN 18 no voltage, checked two mosfet PU4404 PIN 5-8=19V PIN 1-3=2.7V AND ON PU4405 PIN123=0V PIN5678=2.7V with no battery plugged in Charger only .but with battery plugged in and charger PU4404 PIN5-8=19V pin1-3=0.5v
    PU4405 pin 1-3=0.5v pin 5-8= 0v.I noticed also when plugged in the charger there is no charging light. anyone can help me on this please

          what is the voltage on bat2 pin 3 4 5 6 , PU4403 pin 8 9 10 , PU4402 S D G

              bat pin 3-6 no voltages pu4403 pin 8=3.3v pin9=3.3v pin10=0v
              PU4402 S=19V D=0.5V G=19V

                  I also found out that mosfet PU4405 Source is shorted to ground

                      PU4405 Source is connected to GND leave it there is no commination battery and charger IC/SIO, SCL SAD BAT IN should be 3.3V check PN4301 pin 2 3 4 it's a pack of resisters

                              Do you have another battery to try? Do I continue to test PN4301 pin 4 and 5 with out battery and adapter

                                  I dont have another battery to try. I test PN4301 pin4 and pin5 both have 0v without battery plugged in charger only

                                          I find the same good battery to test and test it its working fine, it was dead battery.thanks again techtiger

                                              The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

                                              Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

                                              This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
                                              Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
                                              If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

                                              Hi there. I am trying to repair an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-45 and it's giving me some trouble. I have access to SMD rework station, variable power supply, digital oscilloscope, thermal camera, multimeter, stereo microscope.
                                              This laptop will boot and run from the power brick and/or the internal battery, but it will not charge the battery. NirSoft BattInfo tells me the charge/discharge currents, so I'm confident in saying that it's not charging. In addition, there's no increase in voltage at the battery connector when the laptop thinks it's charging, not even a few millivolts.

                                              At first it was not working on Battery, I discovered that PQ201 was knocked off and replace it => work on battery precharged on another computer.
                                              I also checked the small resistors between PQ312 and PQ201 and even if they are ugly values are OK.
                                              My issue, when I plug the charger computer off, it drains 0.25A during few seconds with amber light on (charging) then amber light blinks...

                                              Motherboard Model: DA0Z8EMB8C0 - Model: Z8E
                                              Charging IC: BQ24780 which I have repalced.

                                              Issue Description:
                                              I'm experiencing an issue with the charging system on this laptop. The BQ24780 charging IC is not working as expected. The main problems are:
                                              1. ACDET is missing (0V):, Reading 0V on the ACDET pin.
                                              2. ACOK is not present (0V): Is missing as well.
                                              3. No SMBus signals (SDA and SCL are missing): The SDA and SCL signals for SMBus communication are not present. There is no clock (SCL) or data (SDA) activity on these lines.
