dell inspiron 15 3542

the laptop is dead:
no power:
5v and 3.3v are present
3v on power switch is present
volts on charging battery are present
volts on bios are present:
when i press the power button, the volt on it will be 0
i reflashed bios but the same error
no evidence of life
any help please

the voltages on bios is 3.3v on all pins except the 4th pin which is GND

Check for AC IN KBC / AC_PRESENT , DC Jack light is on? Are you using a original charger ?

Yes the adapter is original

on page 98 there is the power sequence, it could be useful, look at pag 96 also
the signals are very well described

Check RTC_RST# at G1901 located near cpu.Check D2501. Moreoften then not, this mb doesnt switches on coz of RTC circuit failure while evrything seems ok. That may not be the case here but do check them. RSM_RST present on SIO??

q1901 has 3.118v on drain and 0v on S and G.
d2501 is good

After going down, Is the voltage on power button (PWRSW or NBSWON) pulled up to 3.3v as it should be?

1) Voltage on pin # 1, 2 and 3 of D2501 ?

2) Voltage on R2502 - both pins ?

3) Remove all power and check the resistance to ground on each and every coil. Searching for very low resistance on the respective power rail. Some CPU / GPU rails will be low resistance and that is normal.
