    MacBook Air A1466 820-3437

    Hello guys,

Have quite a few 820-3437 boards and they are not good sellers on ebay, thought to try upgrade rams to 16Gb, i think they will be much better sellers then

So main question: Maybe you guys know exact chip models that are compatible? In schematic i am finding only these with apple part numbers.

    Part number Description Bom option

    333S0681 IC,SDRAM,16Gb,LPDDR3-1600,178P FBGA HYNIX_8GB
    333S0680 IC,SDRAM,16Gb,LPDDR3-1600,178P FBGA SAMSUNG_8GB
    333S0666 IC,SDRAM,16Gb,LPDDR3-1600,178P FBGA ELPIDA_8GB

Yeah the easiest would be to get the part numbers from an actual 8GB board variant. That way you can also confirm the strapping resistor arrangement. (it's listed in the schematics but it may not be 100% correct)
But I'm not really sure if it is worth it for resale, RAM chips aren't cheap.

8 GB is not a problem, because i have 8gb logic boards to see that part numbers. But as i understand 16gb is also possible, but i didn't saw any 16gb boards to check part numbers. Only in one video

3437 (2013 model) doesn't have the 16GB configuration. The SPD profiles may be missing from the EFI.
00165 (2015 model) has the 16GB configuration on the other hand. For those (and 00164), EDFB232A1MA-GD-F and H9CCNNNCLTMLAR-NUD may be compatible parts.
