    Can't use flashrom

    Hello,
I'm new to the site and have a general question about a laptop I have.

It is a HP Zbook 15u G2. I have attempted to get a backup of the bios with a bios clip attached to a CH341A. The board has 2 chips on it. One is a W25Q16.V which I can read and backup (only 2.1Mb in size). The is not readable because it is not supported by flashrom. It is a MX25L12873F and seeing as the other chip is only 2MBs I believe the bios is held on this chip.

Is there anything I can do to remove the password lock on this laptop?

    Thanks
