    Lenovo L430 won't turn on

    Hello

    I plugged a L430 which I didn't use for 4 months. And it doesn't want to power up.
    I tried another charger, replace RAM, clear cmos, whitout hard drive and nothing.
    When I plug it in the startup button comes green fix, battery led is orange fix without battery inside and mute sound button comes orange fix after the fan starts spinning 1 sec.
    When i tried without ram the fan spin but no beep song. I don't know if there are beep song on this laptop.
    Do you have an idea please?

      Dissemble the laptop come up with Voltage measurement for example PL4301 PL4302 big gray coils you have to measure all the coils
      Try with a external screen does your caps lock key key board working

          I measured Pl4301 et pl4302. I got 1.2V for 2seconds then 0V when I plugged the charger
          PL4101 3.36V
          PL4103 5.02V
          PL1 2.72V
          PL4601 I got 1.55V for 2seconds then 0V when I plugged the charger
          PL4401 0V
          PL4501 I got 1.04V for 2seconds then 0V when I plugged the charger

          No display with external screen, and caps lock key key not working.

              Voltage should be stable not 0V what is your output voltage of the charger?
              Page 39 BATT1 pin 1234 voltage with battery in?

              Measure voltage with charger without battery and remove the charger only with the battery all the coils
              PL4301

              PL4501
              PL4601
              PL4701
              PL4801

                  I said something wrong about the measures I had done.

                  I measured all voltage with the charger plugged without battery (dead). What I wanted to say is for Pl4301,pl4302, PL4601 and PL4501 I got voltage for 2 seconds and after 0V. I had to plug/unplug for this 4 coils to get Voltage.
                  I can't turn off the laptop with the power button. I plug it in, it starts to on. The startup button comes green fix, battery led is orange fix without battery inside and mute sound button comes orange fix after the fan starts spinning 1 sec. Then those 3 leds still in this condition and i can't turn the laptop off, I have to unplug it.

                  I will do what you ask asap.

                  The output voltage of my charger is 20V

                      Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited...

                      For Badcaps Readers, Please note that I am hopefully going to present this same message to Lenovo to see if they have any insight to the matter as well and figured to share the entirety here for clarification. The System is out of warranty as it is but does have the option to have it extended.

                      Only works with external Monitor.
                      I am trying to verify that the LCD signals from the motherboard are ok.
                      The LCD was working, but over time happened to not turn on more frequently.
                      Now dead.
                      Possibly the cable from MB to LCD is broken somewhere.

                      I just wonder how it is detected if external or internal monitor shall be activated ?

                      I've repaired a few laptops in my life but this time my own laptop died😂.
                      Funny enough this one is a bit tough on me.
                      It doesn't turn on (most of the time).
                      Model: Lenovo y520-15ikbm (NM-391).

                      The only way to make it turn on is:
                      1) unplug battery + charger + rtc (seems irrelevant)
                      2) wait a minute
                      3) plug battery/charger in
                      4) on charger plugin, laptop turns on by itself. On battery plugin you have to press power button. Sometimes nothing happens and you have to try again.
                      5) when it turns on it also displays POST...

                      I need your advice in diagnosing a motherboard issue on a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL05, motherboard HS45A/HS55A Rev 1.0 NM-D461 (2020-11-02).
                      Symptoms:
                      The laptop does not power on and does not respond to the power button.
                      Background:
                      According to the owner, her child was playing on the laptop when it suddenly shut down.
