Hello all,Can i have some friendly advice,Im in need of a replacment charger,for my laptop (model above) i have found one but the Amp are lower than the original 19v 4.74a,compared to my 3.34a 19v ? will it work ?

do not buy that AC adapter, because it may damage the mainboard. I recommend buying an AC adapter with even 5 or 6 Amperage. -

I`d buy a 2nd hand (used) genuine charger from ebay or a pc shop .Used quality chargers are better than compatible or replacement chargers.Comment

Probably a fake,with a metal plate inside to make the weight up. I`d still buy used,and ask the seller if its the charger that came with the laptop originally.
EDIT: and also ask the seller if there`s any splits or fraying.

Hello,
I'm working on a Lenovo T460 that has been having trouble charging as of late. Its worked well since I've owned it for a few years. When I went to use it the other day it was dead and wouldn't turn on (was sitting on an Anker 65W GaN charger). After some fiddling with the charger I got it to turn on and start charging, but seemed like the charger was not working as it should (took a few plug and unplug cycles to get it to start charging).
A day later it was dead again and wouldn't boot/charge no matter what I did. No lights or anything when... -

I bought a functional Clevo D901C (Sager NP 92261) with its battery but without its power supply.
So, I invested in a new LiteOn charger, advertised by an online seller as the right charger for my machine... BUT, according to the pinout (4pin + shell) of the charger, 1 and 2 are 20V / and 3 and 4 are grounded. When I measure pin 4 with the ground of the PC, I have 300kOhms, which seems to be confirmed by the electrical... -
Hi all!
Usually I like to think my diagnostic skills are quite good but this one has me a bit stumped.
Laptop came in with a damaged very loose USB-C port.
I ordered the correct port and replaced it, all good so far. Now when I plug in the usb-c charger there's a solid connection, I can see that the charger voltage jumps up to 20V, and if I press the power button the laptop turns on.
Unfortunately, the charger LED stays off at all times and in Windows the laptop doesn't detect that it's plugged in, despite running off the charger even with the battery... -
The Bauer power tool battery charger just has to many issues with the charger over heating because I several HERCULES Hercules battery chargers that are 3 amp charge and because they have gone on quite a few times over the years before they came out with the fan cooling battery charger I going to modify one so I can charge Bauer battery packs faster than the crape battery charger that they have

Hi everyone.
First, let me preface by saying that I do not have much experience with diagnosing damages in motherboards other than visual inspection and checking simple short to ground faults.
But I do learn quickly, and really want to learn how to properly diagnose motherboard faults. If someone could have the patience to go over this board with me, it would be greatly appreciated.
