What situations, PCH does change the BIOS content in?

(I do not know myself. I should have more study on this field.)

one of these situations might happened to this laptop. for example, PCH may think the active BIOS content is damaged, so it recovers BIOS from some backup.

As another probability, it is also possible that a program (installed in Windows) manipulates the Bios content automatically in constant periods.

i agree with caspian,maybe a program?a cracked program?other thing i noticed
many units put in hibernation many times and for long period of time finish with a corrupted bios(especially recent hp pavillon) .mcplslg123 did you try to make a normal bios update?

Thanks to all of you. Bachir2004, i took care to install only windows 10 on it with no drivers, softwares installed and asked the customer to try it for a month. If everything goes fine, we can always load the other software. So the problem happened with no drivers, no addon software installed-only virgin window10(original).

I fully agree, with piernov that it has something to do with pch and i expressed that doubt in the beginning of my post. Simply put, these new gen mb's have made life difficult for repairs as most of them have problems related to inbuilt cpu+pch .

Remember, PCH has RTC section and in this particular mb, cmos related issue. So might be pch has some issues in rtc section. No body can say with 100% surety in such situations that what's wrong.

Having similar issues with La-A992p, Powers on for about 10seconds and goes off, No vs voltages and I realized that there is no SUSP# coming from the EC, I have done a lot of test with no results.
Ha s anyone be able to solve one of this issues.

its inbuilt pch(not cpu) which has gone bad-Thats my experience yesterday only with A992p mb. Same symptoms.
