    840 G4 if shutdown does not start until cmos reset

    HP ELitebook 840 G4, if shutdown does not start, until cmos reset or with key WIN+B, when restart it start normaly but if shutdown does not start.

    - power button working
    - Bios updated to latest
    - CMOS Battery changed
    - Battery charged

      Check RTC circuit like RTCRST#/SRTCrst#/INTRUDER# etc.

              Hi everybody. I forgot the password of my BIOS and am now struggling to reset it. I removed the battery for a whole week-end but the BIOS is still password protected. I think I must shortcut 2 pins but I don't know which ones. None is labelled G2201/RTC_RST/RTCRST/JCMOS.

              I would be VERY gratful to anyone who can help :-)...

              I have a Gigabyte G5 KE laptop and I have forgotten the BIOS Admin password. I can enter BIOS menu but when trying to enter BIOS settings it ask for my password which I have forgotten.               I have a strange fault with this notebook, MB Nr. is
              G75A DAG75AMBAD0 REV: D

              Backlight goes on, but no picture. Caps blinking 5x long, 3x short, meaning
