Hello. I have a sony vpcsb (mbx-237) here that seems to have a defective flexible cable, the one that goes from the power board to the motherboard. The computer would not turn on, but after moving the flexible cable around it started to work. It only works if the power board is out, and the flexible cable stretched a little.
I see from the schematic that most of the cables go to Ethernet and other thing I do not need. Does anybody know what are the absolutely necessary lines to power on? I have searched for the cable but can not find it here in Mexico, even online. I will order one from the US, but it will take more than 2 months to arrive.
PS.After moving this cable around, it does not work at all anymore, when connected I do not get 19v to motherboard, when it is disconnected I do get 19v.
