    Hello Guys need help
    Fujitsu SIEMENS Amilo Pa 3515 Wistron
    Laptop starts but no image in power LAB it takes 044.A
    19V OK 3.3V OK 5V OK

    Bios
    Pin8 3.3V
    Pin7 3.3V
    Pin 6 1.5V
    Pin1 1.9V
    I have flash bios but still no image I have send the Old Bios and the New Bios that I have Flash can some one check it

    SIO WPC773L U26

    VCC 3.3V
    RSMRST 3.3V
    KBC PWRBTN 3.3V
    SLP S3 3.3V
    SLP S5 3.3V
    PLTRST 0V
    COILS
    L46 1.2V CPU VDDNB
    L47 1.2V VCC CORE
    L48 1.2V +VCC CORE1
    L64 1.8V 1D8V PWR
    L65 1.2V 1D2VPWR
    L27 0V 1D1V PWR Missing test with multimetre meter continuity 000.5 to GND / Diode mode 0.000 to GND / ohms 000.2 to GND

    So I test the 2Mosfets

    U36 & U39

    U36 in diode mode 0.516
    Pin 1.2.3.4 19V 5.6.7.8 0V

    U39 in diode mode 0.485
    All pins 0V

    So i check the TPS51117 IC U35

    Pin 4 5v V5FILT
    Pin10 5v V5DRV
    Pin 14 5v VBST
    Pin 1 3.3v EN PSV (SLP S3)
    Pin 13 0v
    Pin12 0v
    Pin 9 0v
    Pin3 0v
    Is TPS51117 faulty or some thing else help Pl

      u have short so inject low voltage to show where is the short

        Do i have to inject low voltage to L27 less than 1v ?

          Befor you do anything, lift the L27 off boad and see which side the short sits on. Then u can inject 0.5 v, limit the amps to 4 and see if something goes hot, if not you can start raising the amps at first. If still nothing, start increasing the voltage but not beyound 1v.

            Thanks for reply TIBD i will do it and post soon so this is a cleair case of short ? TPS51117 IC is not Faulty ?

              After inspection i found broken pads on U67 Southbridge some have work on it end of the story thanks for All
