    Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xa 3530

Hi, I got this Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xa 3530 Model: MS2244. from a friend and it is powering On, but only functional keys lights up, fan spins and nothing else, screen is black no backlight, and it's staying like that forever. I tried other memory that I know is working, I tried to empty capacitors by holding power button without battery but still nothing. I didn't try new cmos battery, need to disassemble it first to try that. But I don't think even if cmos battery is dead it would give some backlight and picture...I kind of think it's chipset or gpu dead.
I read something on google that they died a lot cause it's amd

Maybe someone knows what could be faulty with this model ?

Never owned one myself, but Amilo Xa 3530 was notorious for for premature gpu death back in the days.
If you offered me to bet, my money would be on the graphics chip.

      RS780M is always a suspect.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 chip and AMD RADEON IGP 216-0674026
