I got a laptop Dell e6440 when ever i connect battery or charger laptop turns on by itself without pressing power button & it does not shutdown, when shutdown it it turns off and then turns on by itself i think its BIOS is curropted can any one help me in this

by IamPriteshI have two such machines which is having this issue. After shutdown the system starts on its own in a minute. It does not start immediately. It takes around 20-40 seconds before it starts again on its own. This is driving me crazy and not sure where to start ..
Some very important points :
- Laptop does not auto starts after shutdown if adapter is connected.
- It will only auto start after shutdown if the laptop is in BATTERY only mode.
- I have tried replacing batteries with a known
- if I shutdown the laptop with adapter connected and lets say remove the adapter after 5-10

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?
My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.

by manol278Hi. I have problem with dell laptop E6440 val91 la-9934p rev.1.
I turn on the laptop and it turns off instantly. After 5-6 attempts it turns on normally. I saw that it was burnt PU800, CD3301B Power Controller Chip.
If you see in the photo someone tried to do bypass and remove PR831, PR832, PC820, PR838.
I will replace CD3301B. I have the schematic but i dont know what are the characteristics of other componets to replace...
