    asus tablet p01z charging problem

    Hi, I have problem with asus tablet p01z. Tablet is not charging, it show only red battery when I press power on. I think problem is this component marked with red circle. Can some one tell what is that and how to solve the problem?

      unplug battery and measure... if its below 3.5v recharge with external charger or bench power supply to 3.7v and then connect battery and connect charger
      Im Back... sort of...

          It`s not the battery, I allredy charged it with external charger. Its strange problem. When I plug in charger it show red battery. When I press power its the same, red battery. I menage to go in recovery and when I reboot from recovery tablet starts but in the battery indicator show ? and 0%.

              The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

              Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

              This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
              Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
              If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

              Have hp laptop motherboard part no opp 17 diner skl/kbl 15289-2 with charging problem.the laptop shows plug in charging but percentage doen not increases.the schematic or boardview is not available.

              Charging ic is bq737 with voltages on pin no
              1&2 -19v
              34&5 -0v
              6 -2.56 v
              7- 0v
              8&9 -3.15v
              10 -0v
              11 -0.18v
              12 & 13 -13v
              14&15 -0v
              16 -6v
              17;18&19 -13v
              20 - 19v

              Voltages on battery connector are
              1&2. -13v
              3&4 -3.14 v
              5&6 -0v
              8&9 are ground...

              BAT PINS: with or without ADAPTER IN
              1- GND
              2- GND
              3- GND
              4-0V sense pin
              5-3.42V
              6-3.42V
              7- 8.4V
              8- 8.4V
              9- 8.4V

              AC Adapter plugged in: after a lot of of hours some times start charging
              No BAT Connected- Green to Orange
              AC Adapter plugged in: BAT Connected- no light
              The strange thing, when I tried a mac charger usb-c with usb-c to macsafe 2 adapter works normally and charging.
              Any ideas what’s wrong please?...
