Anyone had success with the images posted above?
I've compared them to the schematic and they are missing some parts:
- move RN37 to RN23
- move R375 to R374
- move R498 to R497

The discrete board is also missing U33 (PS8101) so there will be no HDMI output unless this chip is added.

However, the most important missing part is entire VCC_GFXCORE supply on page 55. How is this mod supposed to work without VCC_GFXCORE for CPU?

I confirm the successful conversion to UMA or HP 4520s (Wistron-S 48.4GK06.041).
There are a bunch of components that have to be aded\moved\removed acording to the schematics. Firmware also has to be flashed with the UMA version, ATI and Intel graphics has different BIOS files on HP site. Unless the firmware is correct, there is no picture on LCD after conversion to UMA, only backlight.

NO . For 4520s it doesnt work by removing gfx coil. I have never found any info regarding conversion for this model-might be -not possible to remake in uma.

I agree, this motherboard seems not to have a pch strap to switch to uma mode, like BOARD_ID0 (R836 & R837) as in quanta R23 or other capable mobos.

i allready tried removing L44 but it did not work, after that it would turn on but no reaction to caps lock, no image
i will take closer look to componenets marked UMA to check are thay there

I try 4530s and 4540s only remove graphic supply convert uma try this laptop maybe work.

I think you need to check every part of schematic where DIS to UMA marked bold green. Meaning removing for example RN35 and installing it to RN31, R375 to R374 position and so on. Thats a lot of work to do.
