Hi guys, I have a problem with friends laptop, board is BA41-01433B with i3 processor. Firstly the DC jack was getting hot (bad solder joint), now the laptop doesn't show picture every time it's turned on...
Anyhow, when it boots all voltages are ok, 19V, 3.3V etc, but when it fail boots
the voltages on the coils near processor are 0.3 -0.4 V less than it should be. Nothing seems shorted to the GND or looks wrong.
Normal boot: 1.0V
Fail boot: 0.6 -0.7 V
Did anyone had similar problems like this, I dont have a spare CPU to test it, but i see the infamous NEC Tokien capacitor on the under side of CPU socket
