Re: Alienware M14x R2
It sounds like a deteriorating Hard disk , making hard efforts to find its boot.ini , or some kind of viruses and malwares or a faulty registry.. A small amount of memory Rams on Windows 10 can also do similar symptoms . It can be also a combination of the three .
Your best way to start the diagnosis is by reinstalling the windows system . -

Re: Alienware M14x R2
I know , but you updated the Bios and said the GPU is fine , so my previous answer still stand correct , and in my opinion , the hard disk will fail soon , maybe in one week to a month , and yet the other possibilities also stand correct .Comment

Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing an issue with my Alienware 15 R2 (Service Tag: DL7NN32). The laptop works perfectly when connected to the AC adapter — it powers on and functions normally. However, the battery does not charge. If I disconnect the DC adapter, the laptop shuts down immediately, as the battery is at 0%. I have replaced the battery with a new compatible one, but the issue persists. I also replaced the AC adapter with a compatible one, but the battery still doesn't charge.
To assist with troubleshooting, I'm attaching two power circuit schematics:- Power

by LEEDASHHello all, I have in my possession a alienware laptop, issue does not power up, Now when the power cable is plug in shows blue light around the power jack, switch on keypad flashes up, then the power cable light goes out, then nothing,
I'm all for ideas on what the issue is, seems strange the power cable lights up once and that is it. -
by abajorI have the above mentioned Alien Ware A51 R2, currently it randomly will boot into the OS but more often than not it boot loops, I'm assuming there's an issue with power regulation somewhere.
It comes with Dual 180 Watt Dell PSU, which is ironic since the thing claims it requires 420 watts in the bios screen.
To rule out the power bricks I've attempted to power up the Laptop with a 330W and 240W Dell PSU at the same time, it still has the same boot loop issue so the problem is definitely the laptop.
Right now I'm trying to dig through the PDF schematics and Board... -
Hi all.i have problem with my alienware 15 r2.basically its keep beeping 4 times at startup-what means there is ram issue.i already tried 10 different ram sticks with different speeds and voltages but nothing helps.tried to flash bios to see if that will help-but no luck.
Ram sockets looks fine as well, cleaned them and carefully inspected
So maybe someone had this problem as well with any of dell laptops and have some ideas what else i can do?

by Bupi452Hi, everybody
Yesterday I was about to re-paste my laptop, when during the disassembly I noticed that the DC cable from DC plug to the mainboard looked discolored and after a bit of prying I found out why...
I am looking for the socket on the mainboard does anyone have an idea where I could get one? I have already looked in the board drawing and found out the manufacturer (ACES_50493-01301-P01) but it does not seem to be available for purchase...
does anyone an idea where I could get one?
PS
The cable has a part number and can be bought on EBAY but I did not find...3 Photos - Loading...
