Hi guys. I have recently gotten one of these machines that seems to have a mind of its own. Upon firing the machine up it says no boot device detected at times and sometimes the hard drive completely vanishes. I have done all the recent tests as far as hard drive and etc.... and they all come back negative. Power unplugs and pressing the power button in for 30 seconds seems to bring it back in most cases. Maybe some of you have seen this machine in action and can chime in. Thanks.

by privato89Hello everyone,
I'm facing an issue with a HEG-001 motherboard that is unable to complete the Second-Stage Boot. I'd like to start directly with my conclusion, which is the decision to replace the MAX77621AEWI chip, and understand if it could be a correct evaluation.
Before I dive into the process that led me to this decision, I want to mention that I have a fully equipped lab where I can perform any kind of tests.
Let's begin:
Following some guides online, I tried to understand how the Boot phase of the Nintendo Switch works, and what are the... -
by Fam787I bought a second hand Mid 2014 A1398 MacBook Pro when I lived in Australia. I'd bought it as a back-up machine because I had a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro, and realising it might one day fail, I wanted a backup machine because I don't like change.
Two weeks after buying MBP2, the seller called me to check if everything was OK with the unit, which I thought was odd. At that stage I might have turned it on a couple of times, but I'd not used it when he'd called. Over the last few years I used the machine seldomly because my original mac has been pretty OK. Every 3-6 months I'd charge it...5 Photos12-27-2024, 05:19 PM -
by sam_sam_samI just bought this device that came in the mail today I put a set of 4 brand new 21700 high current battery on the charger
The charger has four individual temperature sensors for each battery cell
The bar graph for each individual battery cell is very primitive but will give you a good idea of how each battery cell is preforming and I find something odd I put on the individual battery testing machine that gives more details of the charging/discharging curves but it will be quicker to just charge and discharge battery cells that do not have any issues
Or test... -

by YolofolkssHi this is a really odd case.
I have removed all of the esd ic for USB 3.0 and 2.0
I measured all of the data lines and 5v usb voltage lines there are no shorts
all of the USB ports have no damage
Clearing the bios using the jumper wont help.
it is still showing USB overcurrent device
the only temporary fix I've tried and worked so far is flashing the bios
and the error is gone
but when you start the motherboard with a USB device still attached
the USB over current device error is back. the bios needs to be externally flashed... - Loading...
