    hello , i`m working on lenovo g50-30 motherboard : ACLU9/ACLU0 NM-A311 Rev: 1.0 . I was following the suggests on this post https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ghlight=g50-30
    . So far what i`ve done is to check PQ301 ,PQ302 and PU301 is where i end up.Except the pins i`ve market with RED on the picture, rest of the pins i get 0v. You can see my results from the attached pictures,schematic also attached, so my question is what should i do now ? thank you in advance

    Replace charger IC PU301 and measure voltage on all its pins again.

      hi and thanks for your help. Dont need to replace anything, i just found if there is a short on the cmos battery means the CPU is burned and on this motherboard CPU is everything. I`m just sharing that to save the work for the next one who will deal with this model.

        Also for me PQ302 mofset was broken after some measurements I took and stopped the current to flow through. Replaced it and now I got a proper opening laptop!

          Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 - Not Powering On - 3 Blinking Lights - 20 volts 0.224 amps
          by bialag
          Hello,

          I have a Lenovo here that does not want to power on. The motherboard appears to be clean, no sign of corrosion or obvious fried components. When plugged in, I see 3 blinking lights and then off. It would cycle the 3 blinking lights every 10 seconds or so as long as I have the adapter plugged in. Amp meter shows 20 volts, 0.224 amps, no fan spin, red light indicator near the charge port.

          Thermal camera shows a section of the motherboard that is warmer than the rest. It is near the connector labels JRTC1 (CMOS battery). Diode measurement to ground for pin 1 = OL,...

          Lenovo ideapad 330ICH - Dead, no volts on coils
          by Nagyesz
          Hi everyone, I replaced this motherboard because it was important to get it working, but it's been with me for a very long time. Now I finally have time to figure out what the problem is,
          I've never encountered something like this before;

          No charging light, full dead

          Lenovo T14 nm-c931 1th gen intel 10th DEAD
          by Zmay2509
          Hi, I have dead t14 gen1 with nm-c931 motherboard.

          Laptop doesn't turn on and does not show any sings of life.(battery is completely flat, do I need it for power on??)

          When I connect usb c power adapter it draws 0.02A at 20v, I get voltage 20.5V up to 2nd mosfet and nothing out (PQ0006 before current resistor and buck-boost) when I touch gate pin of PQ0006 with tweezers it opens and I get 20.5v on current resistor;
          But even with that "trick" I cant get laptop to turn on, that's probably because BQ25700ARSNR is not happy and not making VSYS15 rail.

          Lenovo Ideapad S130 is the CPU dead?
          by madan1
          Good day.
          I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with a Lenovo Ideapad S130 motherboard. When I connect it to the bench PSU and limit the supply to ~2.2A (about the limit of the lenovo stock PSU), the board absorbs all the amperage and the voltage on the PSU drops down to about 4-5V.
          The components on the board that get hot are the two mosfets ( 1 and 2 on the photo ) and the CPU. The resistance to ground measured on the power rail coils can be seen on the image (~17 and ~50 ohms). On the top of the CPU there are few caps which measure dead short. I checked all caps on the top side...

          Lenovo NM-A921 (Yoga 900-13ISK2) dead
          by reformatt
          This machine has been in a few times with an intermittent fault of not charging. Motherboard is NM-A921 (https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=2051581)

          So back again now, not working at all. Previously the adaptor had been replaced along with the DC charge port. This is one of these trapezoid shaped orange USB ports that Lenovo were using prior to going USB-C. It has 4 pins, but the DC connector jack on the PCB has 5 pins.

          Fault presentation was the adaptor is only producing 5.2V, not 20V and this isn't reaching the input of the NVDC charger (PQ5/PQ6). There are 5...
