820-3209-a power on only without u7000

hi
my macbook is a water damaged one.
I saw a short circuit in u7000 pin 14 so i removed it and the short was gone.
Now without it the macbook turns on and it seems ok ( i don't know what u7000 is there for) i deceided to buy another u7000 from aliexpress, but when i place it with air gun, the mac stops turning on again (without any short)

does someone have some advice to solve this problem?

pin14 is ac ok that goes to smc passing trouth a resistor. put u7000 and report all voltages on each pins. (watch out to short pins together)
probably u have short on one of the mosfet that power 12.5 volt rail or some voltage from ac not ok.

i suppose u dont have stable green light on ur charger...

voltage on fuse near battery? without battery.

you mean pp3v42_g3h right?
if yes it is pin 12 of u7000 and the voltage is present yet 3.4 volts...

i mean the magsafe dc in pins voltage on mainboard. 1 is gnd, 2 are 16 volt and one should be around 3 volt. i think u dont have that 3 volt and follow schematic to see why u dont have.

have u already tried a smc reset ofcourse ?

check page 42 u5010 pin 5 for smc_reset,and do smc to see if that helps

pin 5 of u5010 gives 0 volts

remove battery and power supply , press and hold power botton 10 seconds.

edit: check r5000 if 100k.

r5000 is 80k with my multimeter...

same problem as u do have. try replace u5010 or reflow smc.

i have replaced r5000
now it turns on by itself with fan at maximum speed but screen doesn't turn on

i think i'm near target, what can i do now?
