    HP Envy 15 (15-j169eo)

After replacing the motherboard of a HP Envy 15 it starts with invalid or missing: Product Name, Product Serial Number, Product Number.

Does anyone know how to set the missing information?

I have tried several versions of nbdmifit but I get platform error with all that I tried.

How do I find the right one?

              Thank you it worked.

I don't know if it was the files or that I started FreeDos without any memory drivers.

                How to Use:

                1. Obtain WinPE bootable media (or windows XP, Vista, 7, 8).

                2. Download the zip file to a directory on your hard drive.

                3. From that drive and directory, unzip the downloaded file to get the file wndmifit.exe, BiosConfigUtility.exe, and oledlg.dll.

                4. Copy the above files to the bootable media obtained in step 1.

                5. Power on or restart the computer to boot the affected notebook on the bootable media above.

                6. Run wndmifit.exe and fill in all information to program the serial, model numbers and others
