    HP G60 power issue.

    hello again guys.

i got another problem. with this hp g60 model

it turns on and when it goes windows login in it suddenly turn off and goes back on. and again and again.

but when you enter in bios menu and stay there its fine.

im thinking of cpu supply is not enough like for toshiba issue (nektokin)
but im not really sure bcoz it has no nectokin ic.

when i seeing the mother board under cpu i found 3caps and one empty pad.

i was wandering putting another 330uf caps on it.

    any idea guys... thanks

    Re: HP G60 power issue.

Did you try and boot with the option "disable auto restart on system failure"??

Just in case it's a bsod crash that you just aren't seeing ... just an idea. Or you can boot from a windows disc or Linux, and check the minidump folder in windows to see if there are any corresponding dump files that would indicate a crash reboot.

Also run a memtest86 ram test for a while, see if it reboots or fails.
