Need a schematic as well, but appears to not be available after some googling.
Customer broke two resistors off the board at PU4601 which is an NCP81208. The two resistors in question are at pins 31 and 32.
Anyone happen to have one on hand to measure their values? Need to know what to put back in place.Leave a comment:

EVGA G3 series - fan needed.
Anyone have a dead G3 series EVGA power supply handy?
Is uses a 128mm fan. Need a working replacement. EVGA was no help. And in searching around, not finding much.

Have a backlight issue. FN-F2 no good. Image is present on LCD, no backlight. Tried new LCD, no backlight. Checked INVT_PWM at mainboard connector - 0v. Should be 3.3v correct? LED_VDD 20v. Would like to check further, but without a boardview, I have no idea where R19 is lol.

Looking for the same myself.
Touch screen has gone haywire. Need to know the pinout on jdep since the touch screen portion runs in that cable. Just gonna cut which ever pins are required for it. IF I can find the pinout. Customer doesn't want to replace screen. Simply disabling in device mgr is only good till the next windows update and it gets re-enabled.

Did some googling, found a bios, but in need of schematic and/or boardview.
Board has a short to ground on pin 3 (vreg3) of u6100, smoking hot. Which is a TPS51225C. Removed IC, short still present. Checked nearby cap on same line, good.

Lenovo C340 / C440 - Post issue.
Curious if anyone has run across this problem. Power on, no post. HDD led comes on, as does the monitor led. Then after 5 seconds or so, hdd led goes out, monitor light fades in and out. No picture, no boot.
Occasionally it will post and boot and run ok. Most of the time it requires power cycling several times to get it to boot.
Swapped out the mainboard, same problem with the replacement board. Tried removing everything not needed from the board, and unplugged all cables not needed, no change. New ram, no change. New power adapter, no change. Processor, no change.... -

Still no idea what this error indicates.
Went ahead and pulled the SMC, reballed ok.
Found corrupt file system on hdd. Scrubbed and install OSX ok. Boots and runs fine now. Replaced battery as well.Leave a comment:

HP Touchsmart 10-E
Board DA0Y02MB6C1 ... need value of PR18. It's up and left from the keyboard connector. And down and right from the lcd connector.
Has minor liquid damage, this resistor is fried. Haven't found a schematic. Hoping someone in here has one laying around to check

SMC is flat on the board.... that's not normal is it??
Doesn't appear to have been replaced. If so, was a nice clean job. However, I don't see these all that often, but I don't recall seeing an SMC flat on the board before. Under the scope, there is no gap, no balls to be seen.
I've checked out all of the sensing related circuits ... everything seems to point back to SMC. So I was checking it out under the scope.Leave a comment:

2011 MBP - 820-2936-A - AHT Error
A little background ... battery swollen to the point of pushing the touchpad up. Computer powers on, start the boot, shows an Apple logo and the spinning wheel. Left sitting for a while, the wheel is still spinning. Pulled the hard drive and ran a diag on it, passes ok.
Boot into AHT ... quick test result 4SNS - VDOR. I understand this is Voltage DC Circuit. I don't see many MBP's wander into my shop. Any pointers on what to look for?
I checked out the current sensing resistors, all seems fine there. ISL problem maybe?? Or should I be looking for something else? I'm guessing... -

Yea, I considered maybe IO board ... might go ahead and order one to see. Not much to it really though. Under the scope, all the solder joints look good at the connectors. But reflowed it anyway. Think I'll go ahead and get one to check out.Leave a comment:

Asus X555L - systemic problem?
I have two of these in my shop, from two different customers. And both have the same problem. Hard drive sometimes is not seen on power up.
Wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this. I've tried a new bios chip with a clean dump. And also tried the drive in an adapter plugged into the cdrom port.
