    Weird issue with Samsung NP500P4C-T03CL

    Hello

I have a strange issue with this laptop:

    Procesador: Intel Core i5 3210M (2500 MHz - 3100 MHz)
    RAM: 8GB DDR3 (1600 MHz)
Video Cards: Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Integrada) NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M (DDR3) (1GB)

It stopped working for no reason, it turned on, I could hear the cpu fan but It got no image , so i took it to a tech store and the guy manage to "fix it". It now turns on but it shuts down after 45 minutes with no warning and not by overheating, the tech guy has no idea why. I checked the charger with a multimeter and the voltage output is correct. Any help would be apreciated.

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue
                        by vincentedel
                        Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...

                        QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV Issue
                        by Manucsl
                        Hello.

My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.

Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊

After reading some posts on this forum, I suspect an eeprom issue so I bought a CH341A to dump...

Dell G3 17 3779 Weird power cycling and shutdown/restart issue
                        by SuperJames
This one's a weird one, and still unsolved despite it having gone back to Dell once.

                        Specs

i7-8750H, GTX 1060 Max Q, 500GB SSD & Seagate 7mm 1TB HDD. 17.3 IPS screen. This has the fingerprint reader in the power button.

                        Backstory

I bought this from eBay, from a wallpapering shop. £650 in 2020 which was a good price considering it's a gaming laptop. Physically it's in perfect shape, apart from the hinge mounts on the palmrest failing in the time I've had it (I have a new palmrest for it). The usual thin plastic crap modern build quality!...

820-02020 Super Weird Issue: Keyboard Input Character Map "Wrong"?
                        by ugamazing
So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:

                        1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.

                        2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not...
