    dell latitude d505 dont turn on

    hi guys i have a problem with a dell latitude d505 when i put ac charger to the 220 v plug the green light is on and when i pluged after into ac charger from laptop the green light turn off immediately i test with other charger but it s same problem i think there is a short on motherboard but how can i test it someone has the same problem?

    someone has wiring diagram for this laptop

      You can get the service manual directly from Dell for free. That will tell you how it comes apart and offers a few other things.

          hi guys i m newbie about schematic and i have some question about smd capacitance how can i check if there is short on the smd?

            Hi, remove PR36 and verify if you still have the short circuit.

                  yes i m able to do that without problem friend but i don t have a lot of knowledge about electronic so if i understood pr 36 this is a resitance 36

                    Yes, it should be written PR36 beside the resistor on the motherboard, remove it, connect the adapter and look if the green light goes off on the adapter.
