I have lenovo thinkbook 15 g4 PN: LA-L931P REV:1A with TPS65994AE (bga) can't negotiate 20v contract but can turn on with a charged battery; can anyone help with a working firmware for the eeprom (U15) or guide on how to create one through TI customization tool. i have attached my original eeprom in case it could help....03-06-2025, 09:39 AM -
Hello, after what is seems like a bad BIOS firmware upgrade, the machine had extrange visual glitches and froze.
The laptop now does not turn on as normal, and does not make post or show the BIOS page: It will stay at a blank page with beeping sounds: https://youtu.be/OC2o9_b1RQ0
I'm planning to flash the bios chip with a CH341A, but it seems that they are three chip candidates:- Winbond 25Q80DVSIG (3V 8M-bit) Located on the GPU board
- MXIC 25U8035F (1.8V 8M-bit) Located on the GPU board
- Winbond 25Q80DVNIG (3V 8M-bit) Located on the CPU board
- Winbond W25Q256JV (3V 256M-bit)
