I tried the Golden Key tool and it actually did the job perfectly, so editing the BIOS isn't necessary now. Thanks for the answer though, I'm sure someone down the line will find it useful! -
It appears I'm not allowed to upload files with a .BAK extension. What are the extensions that are allowed? I can rename the file with one of those and upload it that way....Leave a comment:

I actually have a backup of the last working BIOS, the corrupted BIOS was erased when I reflashed it. Is that useful?

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ADA05 (model name 81W1) - Trying to flash the correct serial number, machine type and UUID without success
Specs:- CPU=AMD Ryzen 5 3500U
- GPU=(integrated) Radeon Vega Mobile
- RAM=8GB (2x4GB, a 4GB set is soldered), DDR4; 1x4GB Ramaxel, 2400MT/s, RMSA3310MJ86H9F-3200; 1x4GB Micron, 2400 MT/s, no part number (soldered)
- Storage=512GB, NVMe SSD, hfm512gdhtni-87a0b
My issue isn't massive, but I'd like to get this solved since I'm trying to fix a friend's laptop.
A botched BIOS update by Lenovo bricked this laptop, so I used my BIOS programmer to reflash the BIOS on it and saved it from an early demise. All is good now, but the BIOS reports the S/N, MTM and UUID... -
