Does the "L" in PWRBTN_L or SLEEP_S3_L stand for "low"?

Reading these MacBook schematics, I am thinking that the "L" at the end of these signal's names stands for "low."

As in the signal is "off" is some voltage is present, and the signal is "on" if voltage drops to 0v.

    Am I way off?
