The issue started when I plugged in a phone to usb to get pictures and the computer usb failed to recognize the phone with several attempts.
I clicked on windows 'restart' hoping it would reload drivers and work but I never got that far.
The computer appeared to 'shutdown' on the restart except the power supply fan was still running. It appeared dead except the ps fan. Like the computer got stuck/froze before it rebooted(no picture, black screen).
I let it sit several minutes and finally unplugged the power cord.
When I plugged it back in the computer will not power on at all no lights(in front) and no fans come on at all but I have a solid green power light on back of ps.
I disconnected ps from computer and jumped the green fan wire to ground and checked all voltages were good(11.48v - 5.09v - 3.336). The plug for processor power has 2yellow and 2 black wires. Both yellow were 11.49v and black 0v.
So I think I confirmed the power supply is fine. If i am in error please shout out.
At this point I am trying to isolate where the problem is. Possibly the startup circuit? or does this sound like symptoms of a fried processor?
Again, it is dead except for the solid green light on the ps.
Numbers I pulled:
HP P6310T
Motherboard- H-IG41-uATX
