PB Easynote Ajax GN not fires up on battery

    Strange thing.
The nb fires up normally with charger and charges the battery but not fires up with only battery. If I disconnect the charger while on it stays on using the battery.
Mobo is an Asus t12j v2.2. I think the proper manual is this but don't know where to start investigating.

Well i can't say it charges the battery very well.
The battery led is always blue (i think it should be orange until the battery is fully charged) and inspecting the max8725eti chip i found the battery or the dcin voltage on the ref pin where it should be 4.2V
    I'll try changing the chip.

what voltages you got on that max?
Just cook it! It's already broken.

        Thanks for the reply.
I get on the ref pin (pin 4) 19V of the charger or the 10,x-11,xV of the battery pack. I'll check the other pins.
I don't understand how the battery is charged properly if the chip has this damage. I know it charges and the battery holds the charge however seems very slow to charge. Yesterday the nb ran memtest with battery for half an hour.

              Thanks again. It's safe.
There's not short on the battery side and also on charger side. I started to hear a whining sound and found that was the charger. The nb was draining all the power (65W measured with wattmeter) from the charger with battery inserted and also not turn on. Weirdly now the battery seemed to charge properly (the voltage raised 11,5 and beyond, i think it should charge to 12,something uh?). Where all that power went i don't know, i don't think all in the battery. Without battery the nb works, no shorts whatsoever...
