Samsung NP700G start but CPU didn't get HOT only Black screen!!

The Northbridge gets too Hot, i dont Know of the Temperature is normal? But i think its too hot?

Mainboard code is: BA41-01944A CPU is Intel core i7, and the Videocard is MXM!

So what can the failure be?

I am working on a toshiba with an intel core i5, also just a black screen. I havent fixed mine but I can at least tell you that the intel pch (northbridge) gets very hot at idle and its normal. I thought there was something wrong with mine when I touched it but normal idel temp is around 60c, if it gets over 80c then there could be a bigger problem with it.

I have found the failure it was a short on a qfn chip and a smd resitor!!

But know a have another failure the GPU cooler wont turn on???

Hi tata,

I'm having problem with my laptop NP700G7A.
Its frequently freezing with the black screen.
My suspect is failure on the GPU.
i tested individual parts of component, and only graphic test is failed.

I need ur guide how to replace GPU/Graphic cards in NP700G7A.
Steps how to open the things and replace it.
I did tried to open all the screws and back cover but i cant reach and open the GPU.
I suspect GPU is located on top cover which is under keyboard.
But i cant find a way how to open the keyboard.
I did tried but just cant get it right.
