Iphone 5 Bad Microphone

Hi,

I have an iphone 5 and any microphone, ear speaker not working at all and the earpiece is not recognized by iphone.

But the main speaker of iphone is working.


i replace all microphone flex including the top and bottom flex.

Is mainboard problem?

dirty contacts on the jack socket maybe.

What is the bad IC that you say?

Only needs to be reheated?

Can you tele the reference for this IC. Or where is located on iphone?

From schematic it's probably U21. See page 10.

hi,

I don't believe that is U21 only because i don't have ear speaker and headphones working.

What can be?

U21 seems to drive the headphones as well (See page 11) - Note that U21's circuit is shown in 3 parts, spanning Page 10 and 11.

Notice in page 11 U21 is powered by U20, which is enabled through R11, you might want to check both of those first.
