Re: dell 3521 tuk tuk sound
dell 3521 tuk tuk sound solution
Dell 3521 Main Working.Bin
Dell 3521 EC Working.Bin
This is the firmware you have to re-program (( Dell 3521 KB9012QF A3.Bin ))

by BowlineMy question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?
My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell... -
by jasonbay13it was working yesterday, i opened it up and saw this mess. boardview and schematic uploaded for convenience.
PU200
pin 17 vreg5 = 0v ~ solder joint was corroded and flicked right off with my probe, was able to get clean and reflow, rest look fine.
pin 8 vreg3 = 0v
pin 13 en = .2v
pin 1,6 entrip1,2 = 0v
b+ and b++ = 19.5v
+5valw = 0v & 25+ohm to ground
+3valwp = 0v & 25+ohm to ground
i cleaned the board up just a little and can get more pics.
where should i be looking? thx... -

by TopPopI don't know the history on this laptop. However it is in good condition and everything in it seems to be working except the sound. I tried troubleshooting that several ways, assuming it was a software or driver issue, but in the end even in the Dell diagnostics which run outside of Windows there were no tones played when running the audio diagnostics. It is as if the audio output device is completely missing.
So, I thought maybe the problem was the little audio board (Dell part 5G0HC) that plugs in to the motherboard (Dell part YH90J). Maybe the audio board was dead. So I ordered... -
I need to get a bin/rom file from a Dell bios to modify, I have run into a PFS extractor in this forum. When i run the path it just says "Working... Done!" but no file is created.
I need to open it in UEFITool and exe or rcv file is not supported.
