    BGA replace off NEW chip

    Hi
I have 4 years working with reballing .
    i use jovy re7500 but i just ordered ZM-R6200 .
i try to do my best with reballing but sometimes the same worked chip i need to do again reballing , that s the point i have just ordered new chips from manufactured to try this way (to replace with new chip).
    My question is :
can you tell me how many minutes or hours you treat the new chip in the oven before replacing it. Somebody told me that to treat it needs 12 hours in temperature 100 grade celcius before replacing is that true or not ?

    Best regards

it will be in the datasheet.
*but* if they really are new then they should come in a sealed bag with no air in it.

STJ , they come in roll pack , they are assembled in a plastic shield with a plastic layer above , but they are not sealed hermeticaly.
and yes do not wast time reballing , simple replace , last long and happy client.

well i usually have my chips in a case full of silica , if there is any moister on the chips the silica will remove it , be sure to once your removing the old chip , put the new chip near the board were it can receive a bit of HEAT , , then simple solder , my advise , for new chips , will unlead , make a FAST profile , last stage or peak time , 5 degrees by each second !

Hi i just received the new chip but the package do not sealed hermeticaly,
i think is better to put the new chip near the board were it can receive a bit of HEAT , as you said HIGHPULSE.
