the problem can be from every pin

lets say one EX:

i had a dell i5 e series no backlight.

i try to force it ; ehh did not went well, did a reflow and after i found out it was not turning on the BL from KBC. change it and everything was fine.


many problems can be seen it that SIO chip but the difference is distinguish the input output and feedback pin.

input - supply
output- for other device or switches
feedback - NB, SB, SUSON all power OK, s0, s5, s3,

i will take a holiday and give money to someone in UK to teach me those pins because i learn to slow.

i think the SIO its the god of problems. if you know the SIO you know how to solve everything.

I feel IO chips are temp senstive also like bga's .felt when swaping.

Basic knowledge of electronics and little more about discrete systems is a good starting point.
Ramee - sorry this guy does not give any knowledge which will help you in the future, there are multiple parts of this video where he gives wrong information.
