HELP PLEASE after Nec Tokin fix

Hi peoples, an update on my Toshiba A300, I replaced the Tokin today with 4 Tantalum Capacitors ( http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4x-SMD-Ta...item35d388d70c ) So far everything is going good, except for 2 issues,

(1) the mouse wont work

(2) The hard drive seems to work continually with the hard drive light running at a continuous fast rate

Can someone please help me, and while I'm at it, thanks for the info on the nec tokin.

mouse not connected to the board?
malware or simply windows indexing or pulling down updates?

Congratulations on the repair, as above, check the mouse ribbon cable and socket for debris and see if the drive activity dies down in a bit.

you can put only 3 capacitor titanium SMD with 330uf x 3 caps
& check it..!!!

try to power the laptop with another addaptor, a bad dc adaptopr can cause non working touch pad;

Thanks people's, silly me, I forgot to connect the USB plugs to the mother board, so that's all good now.With the hard drive seeming to work while not in use, well I replaced that drive with a New drive that I had spare and installed windows 7, the original drive had Vista. Well all is good. With peoples experience with new Caps, what sought of life span can one expect???? Also I found the exercise of removing the Nec Tokin and soldering in the new Caps, quite an easy job to do. I had never done anything like this before, and felt pleased with the outcome.
