    Parts ordering

I was searching for parts online, and as it seems the only reliable source for parts for me is digikey (I live in Finland).
However, thay charge 18€ shipping unless the order is over 65 €, then they ship for free.
If I were to order parts from digikey, I would like to order a few of many different IC:s, FETS and whatever I could need for laptop repairs. Since I don´t have that much experience repairing laptops, thus I can´t really tell which parts are common in laptops. TPS51117 seems to be one chip that is widely used, but can anyone add to that list?

Yes, that seems like an alternative. Shipping is a bit cheaper, and the 2-3 day option is for collecting at store. I live quite far away from Espoo, so I can´t pick up my order from there. Thanks for the tip, though!

        3090 FE Part Confirm/Identification
        by H H
        Hello,

I'm hoping someone could help me confirm if I have identified the following parts correctly.

Apparently the DP cable became stuck inside the graphics card and was yanked out. This caused some sort of short which burned the DP contacts and blew some resistors and ferrite beads.

The parts needing replacement are on the back of the board behind the HDMI input.

I have identified the parts as the following:

        C6037: MLCC 0.1uf/16v(0402)x7R W05

        R6016: RES 499 OHM 1/16W (0402) 1%

        LB10911: Ferrite Bead (0402)...

Where do repair shops buy MB replacement batteries?
        by howardc64
Order my parts from mobilesentrix.com and iPhone batteries have been excellent. Recently got 3x bad A1534 (2015) batteries. All would work until ~30-40+% and drop to < 10% instantly. Typical sign of cheap batteries.

Perhaps the less popular A1534 model's aftermarket batteries are more source limited. Just find it surprising quality from mobilesentrix (usually fairly high quality aftermarket parts) have been so poor.

BTW, this isn't the only defective parts I've had from mobilesentrix. Amongst others including iPad Air touch screen and A1989 touch bar (display was...

Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01 Schematic and Parts List
        by Mark D
The TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...

        Cyberpower 1500AVR UPS repair
        by quickname
I'd like to start out by thanking this forum for providing the info to be able to repair my 15 year old CP1500AVRLCD UPS. Here is all the info I gathered during my trouble-shooting and re-capping.

Like clockwork, I've had to replace the SLA batteries every 4 years. It was about that time and the UPS was acting like it needed new batteries... randomly shutting off with AC present, not being able to charge fully, and poor runtime when AC was removed. So, I replaced the batteries but noticed that it was not charging properly.

I decided to verify that the batteries were...

        Vizio D55un-E1, bad Q9100, C9100 & R9111, parts ordering questions
        by DXseekerMO
Hello everyone, I just sourced a Vizio D55un-E1 with no status light at any time. Here's what I know:

        First referenced this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...light=d55un-e1

Complaint: After a power outage the TV will not turn on with no indication of a status light.

Findings: Complaint verified. Q9100 is short gate to source but neither of these are short to drain. R9111 is blown, board has a scorch mark next to the resistor. C9100 is blown with a hole in one side. U9101 appears unharmed as do the other board components....
