    lenovo z500 shuts down at 3 seconds

    hi
    i have this laptop and shuts down after 3-5 seconds.
    the power led is working,i have 3 and 5 v on the motherboard,i have power on the kb 9020.
    there are 2 bios chip(winbond) with no voltage on the 8 pin.
    there are no voltage on any of the coils (except 3 and 5 v) in the 3-5 seg that the laptops powers.

    any help would be appreciated

      laptop reboots ? or stay shutting down ?

              Hello guys. I have a legion 5 17ach6h with Ryzen 7 5600h and RTX3060.
              It was working perfectly fine but the cpu was overheating so i decided to replace thermal paste. I bought one from local hardware store and replcaed. it looked fine then the fan started to spin at the full speed after about 1 minute and then immediately shut off after 10 seconds.               Hello together,

              I am hoping for some tips here to repair a notebook.

              The notebook has following issue:
              After starting the notebook it shut down after a few seconds.
              Sometimes it is possible to enter the bios but then after, another few seconds it shuts down also.
              The time until shutdown varies slightly.

              What I've tried so far:
              - cmos cleared
              - removed all components that are not essential for motherboard testing including keyboard and touchpad
              - ram exchanged
              - same behaviour with power supply or battery...

              Hi, I got x201 Lenovo, and it powers up just first time I insert AC in it, and shuts down after few seconds no matter if it's in BIOS or on boot screen.
              And after that I can't turn it On again, I need to unplug AC and plug it back and then it powers up but shuts down after few seconds again. Any clue what that can be ? I got it like that.

              Hello. I bought a faulty Lenovo ideapad 3, but it turns out the 3Valw buck converter burnt a hole through the board. I was able to clean it up, and remove all the shorts. I now can power the 3.3v rails from a bench power suppy while connecting the laptop to its psu, and I get the additional 5valw, 1.8v, and 1.05v, form what I can tell in the schematics, those are the only 4 voltages I should see before turning on, and they are present.               I have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
