Acer Aspire 5920G bright white screen GPU 8600M working

Hey guys how are you!
Please if you mind sharing some suggestions about my trusty 5920G which was perfectly reballed almost a year ago. Now suddenly laptop screen goes white with backlight on but with completely white monitor.

Things I 've tried:
1. Changed GPU with a known working Nvidia 8400M GS MXMII
2. Changed 15.4" monitor
3. Changed LCD Screen cable
4. Inverter is probably fine cause I have backlight
5. WORKS on external monitor via VGA connector perfectly

Seems to be a mobo problem which is a shame cause CPU is very fast and also the GPU is reballed and should be fine for many years to come...

What do you think guys, should I leave it be and sell the parts...?

Reballing GPU does not help with these because the chips are defective. However, you said you have a working card and it behaves the same...

Does the 5920G you have have Intel or AMD processor? If it is with AMD it may be the MCP chipset which is not worth repairing.

Yes I have tested the card cause I thought that the reball went broken. The card works for sure. It has an Intel Processor. I think the LVDS signals are messed up but is difficult to check them. Also I cant charge or operate from battery. That problem was older though but may contribute to IC failure...

white screen = vga not present

i had some 5920g doing that. removed and reinstalled mxm card and was fine.

if vga present but not working give black screen.

just repaired about 5 out 6 mxm vga this week

Yes but tried like 10 times to reinsert it. Maybe will try again to see.

For me every time I had a whites screen was usually from the LCD connector at the back of the monitor/screen that wasn't fully inserted or not inserted properly!

yes white screen can be also bad lcd connector on mainboard or lcd itself.

Of course, but it would be interesting to have a look at other possibilities also
and learn more, rather than get stuck in standard solutions. Be open minded and take other openions also in consideration.

I would connect to the HDMI port and see if you get a picture when you enable that screen. I have also seen display problems when the ram is not seated in the socket correctly. My neighbor's laptop that he use for a few years, one day his screen would just turn on with nothing on it. I opened it up and noticed that the Ram was not all the way in the socket. I guess shoving it in a backpack caused this.

Thanks for suggesting but it's absolutely useless. Novice users who can't tell the difference between bright led backlight led with black screen or white screen getting answers from wanabe computer experts.
Here on BadCaps forum at least I have a chance of a good answer or suggestions from well known technicians! I want to include myself in that category!

you guys acting like I attacking you, mistake. I explained already what I ment and even for "welknown technitian" there should always be room to learn more and at least be open to it and don't act like you know f-kn eveything.

Nobody said that they know everything and nobody attacked you but at least in this forum you have a higher chance of a correct answer due to the quality of professionals that take part.
As I said on my first post I replaced almost everything that has to do with picture on LCD with no success. Will try your suggestions guys though and thank you! I think that LCD connector on motherboard is faulty but will try to re-insert the MXM card also!

on my 5920g without mxm card, pc was able to boot and i heard also windows sound too, so pc is fully working except there was no video output. try boot pc and wait a bit, then hear if u see it like working normal (hard disk reading, any sound output and so on).

I thought before you start replacing items one would find out if the computer hardware is the problem or the screen. If the computer is working alright then it should display on another screen. If it does not than replacing the screen makes no sense. The problem with Googling for information is one has to weed through the answers of those who may not know the exact answer. Some of the problems come from software engineers that keep changing the product. So one answer might be right during a particular time and wrong at another time. Also, software engineers are constantly protecting their product and once a person figures out a work around it then is block. It seems to me that industries are trying to dumb down the pubic by discouraging people from repairing their own product. They are depending that people will get discouraged and give up and only depend on the companies. In this way they can increase prices and decrease products. So this site has given me hope that there are people willing to overcome this from the younger generation. When I was a child my dad would take the tubes out of the TV and bring them down to the hardware shop to find out which tube was bad. Now this is a thing of the past.
