HP Pavilion 15 noreaction to power button

    Hi everyone,
I have little complicated issue motherboard issue with HP Pavilion 15 from my friend.

Board doesn't react to power button. It's only signalized the charger was connected and/or acumulator charging.

I found schematic for my board, so I checked button connection to KBc and main supply. I found the MAINON stay low/gnd after power button push. So processor and other components has no power.

I have suspicion to faulty KBC circuit but I'm newbie so I need to know if this faulty is possible.

    My motherboard
    Model: R62 rev. E
    DAOR62MB6E1

KBC chip is KB394OQ A1 (unfortunately I can't found datasheet)

KBC is on page 30 in schematic PDF

    My questions are
    - is it really possible to fail KBC with these symptoms?
    - is there some certain method how to test it?
    - is neccesary reprogram KBC if I will buy new one from ebay?

Thank's a lot for answers and hints

I think when looking for that datasheet, you can leave off the A1, also that is a nought before the Q, as seen in this link

Take a photo of the board.

        The r62 it's the schematic?
Just cook it! It's already broken.

HP Envy 13-BA1565na with intermittent power button
          by themosttogain
Hope someone can give me some suggestions on this because i'm at my wits end with it...

I have an Envy 13-BA1565na here with an Intel Core i7 i7-1165G7 CPU (board is a LA-J475P Rev 1.0) which has an intermittent power button issue. The power button is integrated into the keyboard, and I have ruled out the keyboard, BIOS and battery as being the issue.

Basically, on mains power, the power button works fairly well. The first time you come to it after leving it sitting (either on charge or not on charge), it might take 2 or 3 presses of the button, but then the laptop boots...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...
