Got a new victim:
AcuRite 5 in 1 Iris outdoor weather station not updating the temperature / humidity anymore. The original sensor is a SHT21. Also there are identical other sensor manufacturers. I chose the HTU21D to replace the original SHT21. Both have identical specs. I've had two failure modes with these sensors.
A: outside temp stuck at -40?
It's cold here at times in Canada, but not that cold!
B: stuck at some temperature and maybe updating once in 12 hrs or so.
Easy solution is to go to AcuRite website and purchase the sensor. Right?...

Hi! I have problem with HP VICTUS 16-E0403NW laptop, board designation: DAG3MQMBAE0 rev. E. When the laptop came to me, it did not turn on, after reprogramming the BIOS, the laptop turns on now, but there is a problem with the TPM (photo in attachments).
After pressing the button: 'Y' - the laptop ?resets? there is a slight backlight, the diode from the switch lights up and then laptop turns off, the situation repeats all the time
Reprogramming the bios with a new batch and pressing the button: 'N' -laptop returns to this window all the time. How to solve this problem? First time... -
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.
In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.- Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again. - Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve. - Problem: TV shuts down

also there is a short with 3 capacitor behind him

Hello, I'm trying to repair this very messed up HP OMEN with intel core i5 11400h (shorted) + rtx 3060. That had also a short on 5v_alw and with that a lot of carnage, well in the end I fixed most things, but I also got the EC shorted, the thing is that I have a very similar HP VICTUS motherboard that had almost the same hardware and I was thinking if it's possible to switch the EC IT5570E-256 (both uses this) from that VICTUS to this other OMEN. I was checking the bios of both trying to figure this up, but tbh I'm not very good at this part of the repair, I also don't have an ec programmer, so...12-07-2025, 10:11 PM
