Macbook Pro A1398 EMC 2909 820-00138 powers on for 10sec then shuts off. No sound , no screen

My MacBook pro charges fine. all voltages look ok with exception that I am measuring 1.78v where the schematic shows 1.85V on PPVCC. is that too low to work?
It powers up for approximately 10sec then shuts off. Repeatable responding to the power button.
I have tried everything i could find on searches.
The only thing left perhaps is those three mosfets that provide that voltage.
Is that what i should try next or does someone have a brilliant idea for me

I have an A1398 motherboard that is working normally with 1.78v. I know that this board, and other A1398 boards, suffered from failing CPU mosfets. I replaced the original FDMF6808 with FDMF3030. This solved a similar problem that I was having. Other replacements are available as well. You can do a search on this original mosfet part number to find similar examples.
