  • Re: Dynex DX-LCD32-09 Sound but no Picture

i just found an 0603 component labled F1 and it had a marking of 20 on it. i'm assuming its a 2A fuse. it measures open. tomorrow i'll put a 2A fuse across it and see if that makes a difference.

I have this same problem with a TV from a charitable organization i'm looking at.
some of the transformers output side seem to be open.
my concern is that if I spend the money on a new board, what are the chances the lights are bad? I think its not worth it to replace them as well. new 32 inch tv is cheap.
if I can get a board for 50 all in then it is worth it to repair.
    can the lamps be tested?

    Re: Sanyo DP46848

    Fixed it!
it was a loose cable going from the main input board to the LCD

    Sanyo DP46848

    Hi,
I have a Sanyo DP46848 here that shows a really messed up picture.
not the half screen like most of the guys posting here complain about.
the Power supply looks good. Voltages seem fine.
the "No Signal" message that shows up when there is no input, looks fine. it bounces around the screen and where ever it appears it looks good.
its only a source signal that appears all wrong.
is there a common failure that does this or is it simply the main input board?
