A2442 14inch Macbook Pro ,JR940 Connector- where to buy?
Hi, can anyone please advise on where to buy the JR940 microphone flex connector? I accidentally broke it while repairing A2442 14inch Macbook Pro 2021. it came off.

tl;dr: minimal electronics experience and my first repair, lifted 8 pads off the laptop display LED controller board when attempting a connector replacement, options are attempting pad repair or jump wiring.

Hello, can anyone tell me where I can get this 26-pin FPC connector? What is the connector for?So that one's also for the Touch Bar. I thought only the FPC at the top was for the Touch Bar. But where can I get it? I can't find the connector online. I only found the 22nd pin. Thank you.... -
Hi all,
i got a Macbook A2442 which statrts normal but is not showing any picture. Using an external monitor works fine. After opening the Macbook i found a dried up line of liquid damage around CN979, RD503, and UP730. I cleaned up everything and also unsoldered the chips to clean the pads. There were no shorts before but i still don't have any picture. Sometimes you can see a glimpse of light in the middle of the display.
So before i change the whole display i want to make sure that it's not any issue with the logicboard. So any ideas what i can check next?... -

Original Issue
The device suffered liquid damage, causing a short circuit on the logic board.
Near the audio jack area, the CR852 capacitor pad was severely burned, creating a clear short-circuit path. The board could not power on properly.
Work Performed
Removed the short circuit by drilling through the board (bypassing the short path) in the CR852 area.
Current Status
