Hi,

I have motherboard that is doing my head in, it just randomly stopped working and when reading the pins the voltage is going 16.5 to 0 back and forth so I must have a short to ground somewhere.

The 3.3v rail is fine
5.5 unknown as does not power on.

I cant get a solid 12v to power on the mobo, I found a few chips getting warm so removed them both for testing but still going 16.5 0.

Any ideas?

maybe, but you have to give the motherboard number. Something like 820-xxxx which is etched onto the motherboard, sometimes well hidden and barely visible.
