Im usually not getting too many Mac logic boards repairs, (mostly PC laptops)
This Mac isn't powering on not boosting to 20v, stays at 5v with 0.0Amps.
Took out the board and it suffered some water damage, see attached pics.
All cleaned with IPA but due to long time with corrosion something already got shorted...
any advice on the below:?
1. Looking for relatively safe location for voltage injection as all of the caps around that area has 0.0ohms resistance.
I tried injecting 0.5v on one of the caps but got only 0.17A and couldn't detect any overheating with my thermal camera.
anyone can note what is the area is responsible for?
